VideoBanner announces acceptance of its streaming technology on DoubleClick Network

Leading ad network to allow VideoBanner™ ads

New York, NY - April 22, 2002 - VideoBanner, a leader in online video advertising, announced today that its innovative technology for delivering video advertisements will be accepted across the DoubleClick's Media Network - one of the leading ad networks in the world.

"In independent research, rich media solutions, such as those provided by VideoBanner, have proven to be significantly more effective than traditional banner advertising at helping advertisers and agencies to achieve their objectives," said Jeffrey Silverman, Vice President and General Manager, DoubleClick Media. "DoubleClick Media is the only network that enables advertisers to target a relevant online reach of unique users using the most advanced rich media campaigns."

Erik Simon, Vice President of Sales for VideoBanner said, "DoubleClick's acceptance of VideoBanner technology combines the world's lightest, fastest loading video technology (8.8 kB Video Player) with one of one of the world's largest ad networks. This creates a vastly enlarged market for online video advertising."

VideoBanner, based in Los Angeles California, provides a full range of products and services for streaming video within banners, emails and other advertising environments.

VideoBanner technology delivers audio and video advertisements to more than 95% of desktops around the world instantly and without requiring end-users to install any special "plug-ins". This is achieved through VideoBanner's ultra-thin auto-loading video player, which at 8.8 kB is the lightest, fastest loading video player in the world. VideoBanner's technology includes instant bandwidth detection and can stream video ads to virtually any desktop, from dial-up to broadband.

"The acceptance of VideoBanner's streaming technology on DoubleClick's network is a significant milestone. Advertisers can now easily deliver television commercials, movie trailers, and video advertisements to literally hundreds of millions of desktops with remarkable ease, reach and effectiveness" said Andrew Reis, Senior VP, Sales & Marketing for Quake Marketing.

VideoBanner has already run video campaigns on the DoubleClick network for Oracle, Unilever, Universal Studios, British Airways, and numerous other companies.
